Python regius is the taxonomic name for the Ball Python, so it figures a naga based on that species might be Naga regius. This is the same snake man from my earlier "Naga regius" picture. I like imagining him as a man from a savanna-based village, who was changed via magical means into this unusual snake-beast and now hides out in the jungle.
THINGS THAT ARE WRONG WITH THIS:
Ball pythons are not nearly so green naturally. They're a sort of olive-tan. Ball pythons are native only to the savanna, they would not be found in equatorial tropical rainforest. Ball pythons like the ground and dens. While I know for a fact they climb very well, this would not be typical behavior. Ball pythons are nocturnal. To have one in a tree in the middle of the day would be odd.
I needed to paint something green. And so I did. Most changes made for artistic reasons.
